Have you ever had a moment in your life when you just knew that everything was going to be okay? That you were exactly where you were supposed to be, and things were working out the way they were supposed to? If so, you may have experienced what is known as 'Spiritual Enlightenment. While there's no one-size-fits-all definition of this state of being, it generally refers to a state of profound peace and understanding. Read on if you're interested in recognizing Spiritual Enlightenment in your own life.
Do you feel like something is stirring inside of you? Are you sensing a change in the way you view the world? If so, you may be experiencing a Spiritual Awakening.
A Spiritual Awakening is an experience in which someone feels connected to their higher power or source and discovers their true meaning and purpose. While there is no one "right" way to experience an awakening, some common signs may show that you are undergoing this transformational process.
What does Spiritual Awakening mean to you? It might be a moment of #enlightenment for some that changed their lives forever. For others, it could be a gradual process that's been unfolding for years. When one Spiritually awakens, you realize that all sense of purpose has left you. You stop doing things but start just being-a channel for what needs to happen at the right time and place without any #ego or #self-identity. For me, this translates into simply being who you are! You are #Divine & with purpose, and when this state of thinking is attained, your desires drop away. There is no longer anything holding onto those thoughts in your mind either way: whether consciously acknowledged or not.
Throughout this newfound self-discovery, you begin to stop operating from a space of ego. You awaken from your dream; you break free from the association with your physical body and mind. And when this state is attained, all desires drop, and all purposes also fall. That is why it is often said that immense suffering can initiate spiritual awakening. At immense suffering, one realizes that no matter how intellectual they have become, what they know cannot answer nor resolve their #grief. And that is where spiritual awakening and the truths of spiritual enlightenment show in the most profound ways to you how one's #suffering was, and is, created, and how to move beyond it. Whether you like the realities or not is again something else that can fuel your journey of spiritual awakening. These painstaking times are essential to our growth and #Souls' #evolution.
The term the 'Dark Night of the Soul' is a period during Enlightenment used to describe the time in which we feel incredibly lost and alone. This can be a very challenging time, with a profound opportunity for growth. You may experience #sadness and signs of deep spiritual depression during this period. This can be a scary, painful experience, but understanding its importance in the process is essential. We shed the skin of the person we used to be through these nights. We let go of all the regrets and break free to a new sense of inner freedom and purpose. We can emerge more awake and #connected to ourselves and the Divine from this challenging time by exploring our emotions and seeking #guidance from spiritual sources.
It is essential to note that "the night of the soul" is quite common among spiritually awakened people. These truths demonstrated as spiritual enlightenments can also be quite harsh as they are simple truths that help you resolve your suffering. Whether you like the facts or not is again something else that can fuel your journey of spiritual awakening.
I remember nights laying in bed for hours on end, unable to sleep, because all I could think about was how wrong everything felt. My world felt like it was crumbling apart, and there was nothing I could do to stop it. It was at this point that my Spiritual #Mentor entered my life. During this dark time, it's imperative to find a Mentor or #Guide to help you through this process. Even if you feel strong enough to go through it alone, a world of difference can be made if you have someone to relate your feelings to.
My approach to the 'night of the soul' was navigating through it with creativity! I did not try to push away the feelings or thoughts, and I encourage you. Recognize them for what they are- messengers from your inner self, trying to get your attention. The more you resist, the longer it will take for you to move through this tough time. Trust that there is a higher plan at work and be open to whatever comes your way. You never know what might be waiting for you on the other side!
Who you are and who you want to be are not always the same. They may never meet. But that doesn't mean that the process of finding out who you are isn't worth exploring. It is a fantastic journey full of twists and turns, heartache and happiness, discovery and revelation. And it all starts with asking yourself the right questions. Questions that will lead you down a path of self-discovery and spiritual #awakening.
The answer to your life's purpose has always been right in front of you. It's up to you to find out what that is and go for it. With a renewed sense of purpose, anything is possible. How does it make you feel knowing that the answer to your life's goal has always been right in front of you? It can be a fantastic gift, but only if you are willing and ready for whatever comes next.
If you're going through the '#dark #night of the #soul,' know that you're not alone. Others have walked this path before you, and so many lightworkers are here to support you. Lean into your community, and allow yourself to process your feelings however they manifest. Be gentle with yourself, and remember that this too shall pass.
The answer to your life's purpose is present within you. But the rare truth not many of us know the truth. Without this truth, you can not emotionally be complete and have not been able to, you can never have a pure source of energy. "The truth is the most powerful force in this world which is why a healthy well-being/ Enlightenment is the most profound truth to understand. You just need someone who can guide and assist in navigating this world with insight, perspective, and intuition. For it is in all these things that we're going need when searching for what it means "to live our best lives now."
May this journey inspire and awaken your #spiritual side! I will always be present on your trip if you seek my guidance. Always reach me on Facebook or Christine Poccia and don't forget to subscribe for my monthly blog posts!
